well, AB isnt rly wanting to follow the books and im guessing he wants to keep us on our toes..'specially the book readers. maybe he switched it up so it'll be more trgic when bill finally does betray sooks? dunno... but im ok w/ the whole bill/LS staking thing cuz we'll always have the books. and i did my lil vid =)

AB would be nuts not to give eric/AS more screen time.

I do wish they would have stayed closer to the books on one issue mainly~ Eric kills the bartender that tried to kill Sookie, not Bill~ I guess they did that to get more characters into the series but Eric doing the killing shows how much he cared for her from the beginning. Oh well

@postalpixie I think bill staked long shadow and not Eric because the writers needed a way to get bill to turn Jessica, and bill would never have turned Jessica unless he absolutely had to way no way out thus the punishment for staking long shadow! I would have liked it if Eric staked him better as well but I love the new character Jessica so,,, It was the easiest, simplest way to add a baby vamp...

kamlatamarw...I think you're on to something. There is a rivalry there that I hope will be explored on the show in flashbacks. Charlaine hasn't really told us about Eric & Bill's past. Yes, we know he's the sheriff, but there is already a very healthy dose of jealousy and insecurity on Bill's part, and for me, that just isn't attractive. Confidence, which Eric has in spades, is a total turn on.
