DP/SFA Music Analysis - The Galleon Battle

The second and last analysis of the DP/SFA music comparision thinger. Really, Discovery Falls and the Galleon Fight were the only two Dinosaur Planet music tracks to be reused in Starfox Adventures (although it's probably possible (but completely debatable) that some tracks in SFA may have been used in DP, but Rare never released MP3s of them when Dinosaur Planet was still in development.).

The differences between the two versions of the track are more obvious than Discovery Falls/Cape Claw. Some more instrumental sounds were added in the SFA version, and some parts of the theme were changed instrumentally. Listen to 1:22 to 2:02 of the SFA version, then 5:23 to 6:00 of the DP version in the video, and you'll see what I mean.

What's also interesting to note is that the SFA version is intended to loop indefinately (hence why it takes up most of the video), wheras the DP version only goes through a single loop before stopping (i.e. it doesn't loop). The DP version is also called "The Galleon Credits", which possibly means that it was used for the opening credits possibly during the fight (since the galleon battle occurred at the beginning of SFA and may possibly be so in DP).

Crap, I forgot to add in fadein and fadeout effects for the transition between images. Ah well. Not like it's a big deal.
