If you lose your power against Masked Dedede, and if he decides to fire misiles from his hammer, you can eat one to get the bomb power. Be careful though; if you eat the first misile, the second one WILL hit you and you won't get a chance to guard. Also, Marx Soul's attack that rains paint all over the screen does chip your block if you don't attack the paint globs.
