if you look at it from a biblical perspective, piggy fits as a good representation of Jesus.
he was no more educated than any of the other boys, he was no wealthier, no better looking, not in better shape by any means, but more insightful and peaceful he died in innocence.

Refer to the passage where Simon watches Jack and the tribe kill the second sow. If you replace 'sow' with she/her it sounds like Golding is describing a rape.
