this is why they break up fights in sports so quickly and slap them with hefty fines. athletes can do serious damage. sure back in the 60s nobody cared but also back in the 60s they were not nearly as physically fit.

People don't seem to understand the title. The refs call wasn't that bad, it was bad because he got punched like a mofo. I'm sure he thought he was right on the play, but he realized it was a "bad" call when he got clocked.
