  • The early church sound of this music works for me only in small doses and 3 or

    4 pieces at a time are sufficent as tedium sets in.

  • @65attila Really? When I listen to this music, I find that the O Fortuna is the only part approaching boring because it is supersaturated in our culture. It's everywhere. But I find the rest of the work to be very charming, devilish, powerful, fun and interesting. Even touching at times. But, that's just me.

  • @MaxRideWizardLord Most of it is Latin, but parts of the whole piece Carmina Burana is in old German.

  • @anneliseackles eh more like ecclesiastical latin pronunciation which admittedly is influenced by italian, or something like that

  • @darkprose It is. Most of Carmina Burana is in Latin, with some parts in Middle High German.
