For all you people saying that HAM radio is for old people I'm only 12 and I'm working on getting my General I have Ben licensed since I was 10

What will happen to HAM radio when all these old fat men die? Look do you see young people or woman? I just see it going down hill... Too bad great hobby and kids who get involved young learn electronic and RF theory . All these old timers were tinkering with radios as young boys. Today kids are into video games, text messaging, internet. Why set up a radio to talk to people when you can do it on the internet. Luddites unite! Radio is cool but very nerdy esoteric hobby, for old fat men.

It's either Coke or Pepsi. Anything else is a misnomer. HI.

Beware of the ham radio operator

I was kidding. It is both called either soda or pop, depending upon where you live in the U.S.!

@AudiophileTubes I dunno.... We never called it "soda". We either called it "soda pop" or "pop" for short.

@AudiophileTubes I dunno... I never heard of a "soda can". We always called it "soda pop", or "pop' for short.
Hey, good for you! It's good to hear about the next generation taking an interest in ham radio. Post a message when you get your general ticket.

Have you ever had someone ask you what kind of "Coke" you want? :-)

Yeah but the good news is that I can weld my pop cans together now.
