20 year Garden 2009 pt1

My Mother's garden. She has been growing in this spot for over 20 years. she is a major green thumb!
every plant you see in this video she planted. all the trees too!

Food for this year already planted:
Tomatoes: Roma, Grape, Big beef, best beef.
Onions: Red, green, Spanish yellow.
Broccoli, red potatoes, lots of snap peas, jalapeños , Green peppers, cucumbers , green beans.

Herbs: cilantro, parsley, Basil, oregano, Italian parsley, Thyme, garlic chives.
Macintosh apple tree.

Very peaceful soothing video. The music selection is wonderful. My cats ears perked up when she heard the birds chirping!

I have to tell you that one year I started tomatoes from seeds indoors in a sunny window w/alot of TLC and got 20 wonderful plants from it. It was glorious! The even smelled fresher outside!

Does your mom use fertilizers? If so what kind? Or does she only use compost? What was the paint can set up for? Do u just cut the bottoms out and use like a collar for what plants? Nice video and nice garden set up.

my neighbors garden is younger then 20 years and there plants are already fully grown whys it taken you so long

She is using metal cans no plastic containers?

she doesn't replant seeds from her crop. She says it's just takes too much time she's too busy, but she might be making a green house and if that happens she will start. she talked to me a bit about how replanting seeds works. It sounds like a lot of extra work. But fun work.
