I composed this music in 2005. It belongs to a series of 3 pieces written the same year and that I dedicated to the children of the war in Iraq. I recorded the two others, Leila and Leila's Tears, in 2007 and 2008. I don't know why I did'nt finish the job with this one. Probably because it's a bit more difficult to play;) Anyway! Now it's done and it's on the web available for everyone. 2005 was a difficult period for me and for reasons that I will not share here. But those three songs give an idea of my feelings at that time. Or when the guitar mirrors your soul... It's much better today ;))

Thank you all for your comments. Always deeply rewarding to get your feedback. I knew the theme of this video would bring polemics about the war in Iraq. That was not my intention but it's logical. Everybody feels concerned by the barbarity, wherever it comes from. I don't pretend to own the truth on this difficult subject. But above that, there is something that should unite us all: children are innocent victims without any defense. This music was just to help our thoughts go to them. Fred

the way i try to make a song is set my rig and put the distortion on the making riffs with a few single notes and power chord.. trying to sound original isn't easy at all. I salute you Frederick!
