Yeah, but I'm tapering. And Yes I am FINALLY clean otherwise. I've been on the done for about 4 yrs, but I've only been clean 1 of those yrs. Yes it helped me get off opiates, but I just transferred my addiction to crack or anything else I could find. I only go clean aftyer gettin charged, losing my job. Just finished up my house arrest. I watched your vid about tapering, and I'm looking forward to more!

i started smokin oxy last year, and whithin two times using i was hooked, i hella related to ur vid luckily i havent used in about two months hopefully i can stay that way

I've heard of ppl smoking oxy, but have never seen it. Do you cook it up like coke? I've done a LOT of dope in my lifetime and oxy is the one that really brought me to my knees. Congrads on not using for 2 months way to go! I've been clean from Everything cept weed for 69 days today! and really wedd aint even a drug imo!

i started at 75mg the nest yr i was at 55mg and at the 2 1/2 yr mark i was at 16mg...one weekend

i forgot to bring my methadone with me out of town..and went through a day without it...by the time i got home 1 day later i said f@#k

methadone im stayign off it.i poured me take homes down the drain..the withdraws arent to bad if you take it down slow. accupuncture helps with stomach pains and anti drepression meds plus meetings help mentally.. so ive been off methadone since sept 07 g-luck

I started methadone treatment back in feb. I just moved to level two, and I have felt the best I have felt in yrs. Methadone has saved my life, I thank God for all the ppl at my methadone clinic that have helped me get to this point in my life. I am now off of zanax, opiates, and pot.....Methadone is a miracle drug that has changed my life for the better, anyone that is suffering from opiate addition, please go get the help you need. Methadone keeps you from relapsing. It also blocsks opiates.

I was prescribed Oxycontin & didn'tknow what it was, now I can't quit taking it of you'll get sick. There never is a convienient time to quit. I take it as directed so I'm not sick, but I am afraid to quit, it is not helping my pain anymore I am immune to its affects. How long did it take you to get off of it? How long did you have "brain fog" until you felt normal again? How do you wean off of it?

I have been in mmt for 4 years now, and have went from 110 to 40 mg a day. Hydrocodone was the reason i had to go to treatment. but, when i started treatment suboxone wasn't even offered at our clinic. in fact they just started offering it a few months ago.I don't know what withdrawl from heroin is like but even though hydro is a low grade opiate the withdrawls were still pure hell. Also I was just starting to do oc's when i went.

yes!, its sad that some people give it a bad reputation! i dont know how others feel about this and i might be opening pandoras box but at the clinic i go to there are people on who were only using vicodin and other low grade opiates. i understand that these can still have a withdrawal but i think methadone is overkill for these people and i have talked to some of them face to face and they admit they are getting high from their dose. i think it should be manditory that they try suboxone first.
