maaan. Im a member of 8wayrun my screen name is endnow. The next time you wanna hit me with a 1000 Dmg wall of text attack do it on 8wayrun! I agree with everything you said but it all seems a bit exessive
Exploit your chances. Don't limit yourselves. Don't do your opponent's job for them. Mix up is about cutting your opponent's options and render them useless. Don't let it be done to you, do it to them.
At my level, this is what it takes to play at full capacity with Sig besides doing JagA anytime I want; use total advantage of your character, and master their weaknesses.
Sig is about risk, range and momentum obtained by leading the stage.
Jumping > Crouch guard. Why? If you [G+2] = you are betting blocking a low and eating a launcher. If you 7_8_9+B_K = you are betting jumping a low and eating an airborne hit.
If you get Launched = Big damage
Getting Airborne hit = AC right away and avoid small damage because of damage reduction for airborne characters. You see, it is simple math. Play good and spread yourself...
Move to your next card. Exploring your opponent requires tryouts through poking. Mixing up and seeing result to guess ahead and lead the battle. Is simple math; if you jump lows + opponent notice at getting punished for trying = they might stop spamming or using it, or might try other moves that are not low, might be steppable or crouchable. Leading the battle is your priority to win. Another thing is; roulette with Sig is just as risky as 44[B]. Some roulette with opponent stepping..
No, I'm not joking. Playing safe is one thing, but limiting yourself is another. Remember, this a game about gamble and reflexes to punish or interrupt outcomes. Just like in poker, there are "tells" in SC or any other fighting game for that matter. So in the situation of jumping over a low attack with 44[B] or any jumping attack based on gamble, you get a free hit. If its gets stepped you can do SBH'K which can come out very fast under a whiff situation. If you get hit anyway... (continue)
44b are you Joking thats a crazily unsafe move when stepped. Granted if its blocked its a gauge crusher Especially 44bb but... no not a good move for a player of My level let alone DTN. Furthermore DTN was using stance mixups ALOT he wasnt just scoring lucky 3bs...
Keev pulled out lots of tricks and set ups, while DTN was just scoring 3Bs. That's leaving too much for to luck handle than you leading your luck.
And what the hell? DTN, don't be afraid to jump! Use 44B, 8B, 9B or 9K. Remember that if you get in the air by a mid or a high attack you AC right away, and avoid eating too much low kick and falling for his mix up.
Lol. Ok. I'll do that.
Whenever I get time off of my game development.

Anyway, enough Fighting 101. Hope I'd helped.

can leave Sig back turned, which is not good...

I'd say that Keev is a better player than DTN.
Keev pulled out lots of tricks and set ups, while DTN was just scoring 3Bs. That's leaving too much for to luck handle than you leading your luck.

Get sharp dude!
