Dressur by Mauricio Kagel PART II

Yale Percussion Group LIVE 2004: Ayano Kataoka, Javier Alonso Sota and Kevin Dufford.

As you may know, regretfully Mr. Kagel passed away last September 2008.

We were able to reach Mr. Kagel while students at Yale:

He sent a note saying "Thank you very very much for your extraordinary DVD with the performance of Dressur. I find this a overwhelming production with perfect tempi and most dedicated musicians. One of the points which strike me at most is that this performance was done without my help, but only with and exact interpretation, which is fixed in the score."

Thank you Mr. Kagel. We are thinking of you!
