Netgear WNR1000 and DSL modem setup. PART 1of 2

configure your NETGEAR wireless router WNR1000 manually instead of using the CD that came with the router.
-set the SSID and PASSWORD for your wireless network
-change your NETGEAR default password
-hook up your DSL router to the NETGEAR router

@djdeito Hey Pause 3:18 how come i Cant Sign in and Access the Options? I just hooked it up and did this but it sais like i Dont have the Right Password? Pleaase Help i need to put my WiFi Password Because i dont anyone Using it Like Neighbors, :/

@IDABAYAREA650I most likely your wireless router has a different default name and password. check the manual that came with your wireless router and look for the default name and password or try googling the default name and password for your wireless router. if this does not work then you will have to reset your wireless router by pushing down the reset button in the back of the router for about 5 seconds. this will reset the wireless router to the default state.
