In Heaven (Everything is Fine) - Michael Forrest remix of song from Eraserhead

David Lynch made Eraserhead a year before I was born, and I first saw it 15 years ago. I have wanted to lay a beat on top of it for years and now, here it is. I spliced the footage in Ableton Live. This took me about 6 hours to produce, all in all. Hope you find the song as beautiful as I always have, and I hope you like the extra stuff I've added.

Here's hoping David Lynch and his representatives let me keep this up here when they find it.

a while ago I remixed the blue velvet theme (needs a lot of reworking, but I liked the overall sound). I was thinking of tackling some of the Twin Peaks themes as well as bits and pieces from Mulholland Drive and Inland Empire, too.

Wondering if maybe this has kinda been done... I liked your beats on that Blue Velvet, but Moby already claimed the Twin Peaks remix (with, IMHO, a shockingly underwhelming treatment). Do you have any ideas about sample clearance?? Would you even be allowed to do something like that?

Great remix. I just finished "In Hevaen, Everything is Fine" a biography about Peter Ivers and NWT (his show). I think he would approve, big time. I've really liked your remix... I love the original, but your version is still so goddam cool! What makes your version very good and plausible, is that It doesn´t lost the original feeling of the movie, besides, your remix contributed to became the song even more ethereal and dreamfull!! Congrats!
