The refurbished GP40 is transported through the neighborhood to Starr Jaycee Park in Royal Oak, Michigan. Leo, his dad, and friends get it on the tracks and test it out!

  • what motor is in it? whats the sise of the track?

  • @cocooreo100 It actually has 8 little motors that drive each shaft in the trucks. They were surplus motors and we had to have them rewound a year ago as we had 1 or 2 burn out. Its 1/8 scale, and you can find more info at Tom Bees website.

  • For some reason YouTube wont let me paste his url in....google "Tom Bee Trucks" and you should find him...

  • His email is mrtombee@aol.com

  • Tom Bee builds them!

  • Last summer we burned out a couple motors at the end of the season...Just got it working again! Leo is happy to have it running, even though its too cold to run right now. We'll be in good shape for next summer. Tom is planning on repainting it with some different colors. I'll keep you updated!

  • IS that a MDM produced Loco?By the detail it sure does look like one.Very nice BTW,How much does an Loco like this cost?

  • Nice engine.

  • @imakevideo That's interesting to know that you had to get a couple rewound already... I was curious how they would hold up... I'm working on a similar project for an engine, and I have my own motors, but that's my question mark as well. I have plenty of power, just not sure how well the motors will tolerate it with a load on a long grade.

  • I love it! Congrats Leo! Hope to see more videos!

  • Stafford?

  • damn thats a huge train

  • Little premature with the suggestion of building a car to sit in, sorry

  • Why doesn't he build a car he can sit in and be towed?
