  • DeFazio is just one more poster child for term limits. I am a native Oregonian, born in Newport and raised in Eugene. DeFazio got into office eons ago, by a narrow margin when only Oregonians lived there, he's won big in more recent years, since the Oregon was invaded by Californians moving to escape the hell hole of Los Angeles, as well as the influx of illegal aliens. Pete's right, America isn't for sale, it doesn't need to be with people like him, it is being given away by people like him.

    Stupid comment.

Profit is not evil, it is a motivating factor in the Capitalist System. The only reason health care in the US is so good is, because individuals will take a risk to prove that an idea which may address an illness (a market need), will make their solution an economically viable one. Profit is the reward for taking that risk.

You may not understand this, but even The Church operates within the arena of profit.

  • @fusermia327 Why do you think it is only Republicans who are owned by these groups and companies? You can't really see the truth if you ignore everything the Democrats do! There is no longer any salvation in the Democratic Party (The party of slavery by the way..) JFK was the last Democrat who was any good, who had any interest in his country. To get away from the groups you mention and the NWO u mention, you have to go as right as possible, and that means far away from the Dems!

  • @captaindiesalot I agree except allowing healthcare for profit is a huge mistake. When shareholders meet healthcare, the patient is LAST. When our healthcare was almost fully run by the catholic church as a charity,it was perfect. All the hospitals around Boston now stink. We used to be the healthcare capital of the world. Now you could probably get better care in Canada! I hate Obamacare and Romneycare, but listen to me when I tell u for-profit H.C. is poison. Competition doesn't matter with it

  • The reason we are THROWING THE BUMS OUT is because almost ALL of them have failed us in both parties. The guy on this video is a huge part of the problem. He lies about lying! This damned behavior is just unacceptable! "Death Panels", ya. It's a REAL part of Obama care! Nobody wanted this awful thing, and everyone was happy with their former health-care. I have watched mine and my families go to crap ever since Mit Romney shoved his MA. Communist plan on us. Now with Obamacare it's REALLY bad!

  • Where were you in 2000 to 2008.Go back and watch the C-span archives and see how well the Republicans did with the people's money. All talk when people don't look at the facts and make up bullshit that many others buy like candy from the Republican Networks of Big Oil,Big Business,Pharma,Ag,The IMF,NWOBig Insurance and the rest of the Corruption Klan in the Reagan attic. America has been sold out right along with its people.

  • @ReliableInsider

Another Fool. Look, the only way to make health care more affordable is to allow the market to FREELY FUNCTION. This is how you lower both costs and profits and increase competition. It's like this with EVERY business, and what's happened is the gov't has imposed itself on the system since at least 1965; I remember when a doctor used to come to your house to serve you. This system is messed, because of Socialist Policies, which are the Middle Ages, you moron.

  • @captaindiesalot

What's socialist about making health care affordable? There has never been a time in human history when doctors charged poor families the same amount of money that they charged wealthy families. Never.

    The options are:

    1. find ways to subsidize health care and education

    2. allow poor and middle class people to remain uneducated and, when they fall ill, to die.

Is that your economic plan? A return to the Middle Ages? Now THAT'S conservative.

  • @whoo689

Our public servants should be whoever is working on our behalf--not whoever is best at misleading voters. The people who are flooding the airwaves with bought advertising are the super-rich, not the super-virtuous.

  • @whoo689

The problem is that a significant number of voters still aren't reading the newspaper and somehow think that they can get "accurate" "balanced" "objective" information from television commercials without even knowing who is behind the commercial.

Organizations that nobody has EVER heard of are flooding the television with shameless lies and people believe the lies because they're tired and don't know what to believe.
