  • Finally found it. The whole soundtrack for this game is mindblowing, but this was the one song that just blew me away when I first heard it, mixed with the feeling of looking out on to the hengsha skyline

. Thanks for uploading, brother. I really appreciate it.

  • I must've spent twice as long in that area just because of this song and that view.

  • My favorite track of the game. Reminds me of Cairo from Invisible War.

  • Чудесная музыка, чудесная игра

  • @Dicoluc It was incorporated into the longer track Hengsha Daylight (Part 1) on the official release.

  • Double post, but if you like this track check "Kate's puzzle" from Mirror's edge OST :d

  • Some of the tracks, and this one especially, really remind me of some ambient tracks from Mirror's edge.

  • This theme is really evocative, it's a shame that lasts only 1 minute and 55 seconds.

I'd love to hear some remix of this track. : Q___

  • @Lenariet Honestly, I think it would be a good contrast to the rest of the game. Think about it - china has a long history of censoring ideas it doesn't agree with and suppressing its people, but those ideas and elements it doesn't like have a tendency to pop back up; so this could easily be a hub world that seems idyllic on the surface, but underneath it's just as bad (if not worse) than lower Hengsha. It could have been interesting, to say the least.

  • @Axapez

I disagree, I think. A seemingly "perfect" place such as Upper Hengsha has no place in a dark, gloomy cyberpunk game such as Deus Ex - at most only to be identified as a dystopian place that in reality is no better than hell. Even if they intended to make it a playable city hub I think it was a good idea not to do so. You are not supposed to "reach" such a beautiful world, it must remain unaccessable to serve the overall setting such a game wants to put you in.

  • @Axapez It was originally supposed to be a city hub apparently.

  • The voice from 0:23 gives me choose bumps!
