I honestly wonder whether Rob Halford would approve of this cover. Either he might view this cover as a travesty of all which is metal, or he might be wonderfully flattered that someone would want to emulate him. I think he would tend toward the latter. From what I've seen of Halford in interviews and such, he's a pretty cool guy.

@zangieffishy I wonder too. Friends have speculated positive response. I would hope that rather than the blind enthusiasm expressed by the fans in the Heavy Metal Parking Lot, all of the band would appreciate music on a deeper level as would seem from the magnitude of their songwriting. The attempt was a for a faithful tribute, however odd the pairing of styles, and heck… it seemed to work. Thanks for your thoughts and time commenting, I'd love to hear from the Metal God himself...
