Deformed At Birth Or Disfigured By Nature - Weird Looking Animal

My son and I went into the Rocky mountains and saw this weird looking Bull. I thought he was deformed from birth but talking to some hunting guides, their conclusion is that he froze his nose and ears. He also has some scaring you can see so, he may have had a fight with some wild animals also. Kananaskis Country - Sheep River Provincial Park
