I remember years ago the Legion invited other `elite` units to try their assault course. The US Marines were a fucking embarrassment to themselves and the US. You could have taken old people from an old folks home that would have done better.

@leonardbullhock yeah i heard dat b4. my dad would always tell me storys about a compittion he cen were it was a 35 phases assualt course an it was the tufest of de tuffest obsitcals, the seals were out in front 4 alot of it but when it came to obsitcal 31 every1 stoped it was a 10 foot wall on the other side of a pit full of shit, the legionairs hoped in 1st guy over his head in shit an the rest made a human lader over him then pulled him up and continued the course every other team stoped der

The USMC is not an elite unit, however there are elements of the U.S Marines that are elite, like the Recon Marines. The rest of them are just propaganda fed morons.

@SEANK892 You have to remember that the USMC is an entire service branch. The jobs of U.S. Marines ranges from infantry to jet pilots. There are some Marines in the MARSOC that have training that goes beyond that of the Rangers. I doubt those were the Marines you dealt with though if they didn't impress you as much as the Rangers.
