During six weeks, seventeen Legionnaires are in French Guyana to do a commando training course, one of the hardest organized within the 3rd Foreign Infantry Regiment based at Kourou.

The USMC is not an elite unit, however there are elements of the U.S Marines that are elite, like the Recon Marines. The rest of them are just propaganda fed morons.

@SEANK892 You have to remember that the USMC is an entire service branch. The jobs of U.S. Marines ranges from infantry to jet pilots. There are some Marines in the MARSOC that have training that goes beyond that of the Rangers. I doubt those were the Marines you dealt with though if they didn't impress you as much as the Rangers.

I remember years ago the Legion invited other `elite` units to try their assault course. The US Marines were a fucking embarrassment to themselves and the US. You could have taken old people from an old folks home that would have done better.

@JAFAMERICAN Learn English you fucking heathen. Got to love yanks abusing Europeans and in particular the British. Most of you are European. You ARE us. Real Americans aren`t fucking white. And as for your `forces` , like always they only get involved in conflicts they can make a film about later. I didn`t see America playing `world police` when Russia steamed into Chechnya . Nah, Too much for you there. Stick to Vietnam or Afghanistan. Oh, sorry, you didn`t win those either Rambo.
