RIP Jet,
-
i remember playing this record over and over until the grooves could not be seen forever a classic instrumental.

Another classic hit. I'm Just one of a million kids in the UK who tried to play this track on his or her first guitar. Happy dayzzz...

BACK IN 1988 WENT ALONG TO A 60'S NIGHT WHERE JET HARRIS WAS IN THE LINE UP. BUT DUE TO A CAR CRASH WASNT ABLE TO APPEAR. WHICH WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. BACK IN THE LATE 50'S/EARLY 60'S WASNT INTO THE MUSIC OF CLIFF AND THE SHADOWS (*THE ONLY 2 MEMBERS OF THE SHADOWS I KNEW WERE HANK MARVIN AND BRUCE WELCH) PITY THAT I DIDNT GET THE CHANCE TO SEE HIM AGAIN.

What a shame to lose a musician of Jet Harris MBE's talent. So the two wonderful artists on this piece are now both dead. What a loss to British music and even we in Australia feel it!

Jet Harris, who was a legend in his own lifetime, sadly died a few days ago. This song "Scarlet O'Hara and "Applejack" were my 2 favourites, although they weren't the biggest hits.
I can safely say that SCARLET O'HARA is one of my fav songs of all time.
Bon Voyage JET, you WILL be sadly missed by many people.

Had this treasured single for my 14th birthday in May 1963, soon after it's release, still have it.R.I.P Jet, thanks for some truly great music !.

I realise it is rather a hackneyed comment, but this really does stand-up today. Still has energy and, above all, TALENT ! Most (not all) of the stuff today has neither and doesnt actually have musicians playing on it.
RIP Jet - great bass player.
