The Killer Bee v2 works with 2, 3, & 4+ channel radios. Not compatible with HPI 2.4ghz, Spektrum or Nomadio brand radios. The Killer Bee 2 automatically kills your gas engine when radio signal is lost. The Killer Bee v2-S works just like the v2 but the v2-S is made especially for Spektrum radios.

  • so will it detect if the reciver battery is low? and say if i had a acoms technisport 2.4ghz which has a built in failsafe, would it still work if i pluged it into the steering port, even if the failsafe was on.

  • @Albear20 yes to both those questions.

  • if i have a build in fail safe on my throttle servo can i still use the killer bee v2? on my steering servo. and i dont know if i got a 3 or 2 channal radio i have the fatuba 2pl 2.4 Ghz

  • @LittleEmi3m Yes. The Futaba 2PL is a 2 channel radio. Put the v2 Killer Bee on a splitter cable on your steering channel.

  • @pb2themax thank you for reacting so fast. now i can go order it :D had a bad signal los on my baja today i shot off against a rock the only damage was a dent in the front bumper. (FEW!!!)

  • @TheExcentrik I don't think Traxxas radios will work with any kill switch at all. Traxxas radios continue to send a good signal to the kill switch, even during a radio glitch, so this could result in a runaway. I'm afraid that you are out of luck, until you get a different radio. Sorry.
