Cessna 182 at Dusk

Did some dusk flying around the Wisconsin/Illinois border. The aircraft is a Cesnna C182/L and is based out of C89 Slyvania Wisconsin. On this flight I was learning how to use a sectional map to tell where you are by using the landmarks. I am in the right seat with my mentor pilot in the left. My dad was in the back filming. hey. i have some questions if anyone can help me out. i would really appreciate it. Is flying a cessna really injoyable? i am thinking about going to flight school. but i am not sure yet. i heard its really awesome. I watch vidoes of people flying cessnas, but i tend to skip through parts of them. Is that a sign that flying is not for me?

@mitch12iz Hey Mitch. Trust me you will know if flying is for you. As for skipping the videos I do that somtimes cause some get boring. If you want to see how flying is setup a Intro flight with your local flight school. They are usually 50$. They let you take the controls and its a great experience!

Are you 17? I'm 17 and I'm doing music technology course, but I love aviation as much as music... Did you finish doing your licence and how much did you pay for all 'that'?

Do you thing 17 is the right time to do a licence (not counting, that it is expensive)?

@Tardersauc3 I did hear about that crash-that was a very tragic incident. Only the second or third fatal crash at schaumburg I think.

@situationcentral Ya it is the red one...Usually its there on avaiation day there ... let me tell you know... GREAT RIDE...so odid you hear about that luscoumbe crash?

@Tardersauc3 If that Heli is the red one that is awesome-I see that heli flying over my house all the time-The turbine in that bad boy sounds great- The rental airplanes used to be parked kind of in front of the hanger doors in a line-I dont own an airplane though.

@situationcentral Ive benn flying out of O6C for about 3 years... The helicopter was the Hughes 369A, It is Used by my good friend, The helicopter is found in the side hangers near the news choppers... I am returning to Schaumburg Airport next week, where would your airplane normally be?

@Tardersauc3 I dont think it is, Unless 89T was a lease back. They seized all the aircraft that northwest aviation owned and put them to auction. The arrow that I used was light blue and white, Iam unfamiliar with the one in the hanger. How long have u been flying out of O6C- That one helicopter vid that you have is neat-What heli is that??
