@xocitysubjectxo nowadays they can not all but some. however the codes are completely made up. so if you were to take it to an lv store they would say its fake and probably sub poena you to reveal where u got it.

Thank you! Very useful!! I agree w/ an earlier comment; to avoid fakes, go to the LV store & buy it. But sometimes people give you one as a gift & you're not sure (like me)b/c ive never bought or even looked at one. No offense, not my style. My LV is a small briefcase, so the info you gave about the stitching, doesn't apply..but the lettering doesn't wrap around, like your first tip said. So, I'm guessing it's a fake. @AnikoOlah i mean when in doubt you can always take it to the lv store and find out. my theory is that every style of purses are different. i should change the title to how to spot a fake speedy 30 lol

If it was real, then it would probably be durable and not get damaged by water JS

@TheElduende24 thats where your wrong. the bad is not damaged by water. its the LEATHER PIPING leather REAL LEATHER will get water spots, sometimes they'll fade sometimes not. go find a 100% real leather couch and pour water on it and see what happens

Your bag is the monogram canvas, so the only parts that are leather are the handles, zipper pull, and trim. The rest is canvas. Just FYI. :)
