still can't make sense out of the 1/4 ET and MPH gain for this. i stand by my assumption that the first run was way too slow of a base run to compare anything to.

@v8killers im sure he did get a full sec out of this,,the grand marquis and crown vic with the 2valve 4.6l sohc 281cid will gain 20rwhp and 20 rwtrq with a intake and a good sct tune,,,, my grand marquis is just a big mustang that gained a bunch race fat,,lol,, my 5000lbs of torque monster is nice as hell when you get some bolt on's like 75mm throttle body, 75mm ported plenum , intake , stock h-pipe , afterburner muffler's and a 93oct performance tune,,you can cherp second with this combo,lol

cold air intake and a tune shaved 1 FULL SECOND off the 1/4 mile time and you gained 6 MPH? are these things that detuned from the factory or were track and weather conditions not identical on both runs?

i think something was wrong on the 15.6 run it should run faster than that from factory, 14.6 is more in line with a tune and cold air but i just can't see a full second and that kind of MPH being gained.

you should be running high 14's in stock factory form with 302 HP and the car at 4200 lbs.

Your S-55 treatment is vinyl, not painted? Was it expensive? I have a black MM and was lookin to get the S-55 treatment done on my car. It look's great BTW
