s500 to w580 tutorial ...cid53 FARmanager Part 1

I've spliced the video into 2 different ones so they could be uploaded here
I'm gonna write the tutorial because I think the video ended up a bit confusing but its very simple:

1) Download and install the SE update service (if you already have it you dont need to install this one): http://www.megaupload.com/?d=PQWW7XQ5

2) Download the FARmanager from here: http://www.4shared.com/file/77575156/de7d3334/FarManager_SEFP.html

3) Download the W580 firmware from here: http://www.4shared.com/file/89907690/78107299/cid53__s500__w580.html

4) unrar the "cid53_s500_w580" folder and put in a easy to find place

5) unrar and open FARmanager

6) Make sure your phone's battery is at least at 90%. Take out the SIM and M2

7) In FARmanager press F11. Select "justdaflasher" . A window should pop up and select in script:"DB2020" port: "DCU-60" speed: "921600" ....and click "jump down into a large rabbit-hole"

8) Press and hold down the "C" button and connect the USB cable (as the "C" button is being pressed)

9) A lot of things will scroll up and then the left window/section should have 2 folders: oflash and ofs...........open "oflash"

10) look on the right side window/section for the unrared "cid53_s500_w580" folder

11) Drag and drop the "W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED53" file to the left side. A window should pop up and just click "COPY" ....another window will pop up and click "yeah, flash it". It will start flashing the FS witch is 209 blocks after its finished a small window will pop up and just click "ok".

Hi i just tried it and wile it was installing main package an error poped up and stopped working! What Should I do? Please respond ASAP

....did the FS work?

hey bro..i'm trying to flash my SE s500i and i'm following exactly what you are tutoring here..but i'm, encountering an 'error' message when i try to copy the FS and main file..it says something like 'babe error'..so i quickly unplugged my mobile from the pc..can i know why there happens?

does your phone turn on after that error?

.....try looking around for other FS and MAIN files they dont always work with the same phone

I flashed my phone but it says configuration error when I turn the phone...any suggestions?

i've done it very well...but my phone can't detect the sim...(no network coverage)..

also, the phone keep turn off and on for a few sec.....why was that?+

yeah my phone turns on and it work normal..im using the s500i (black cover with green light).

can you give me some sites so that i can download the FS and main files?

and i have a far manager software by the name of 'Far Manager + JDFlasher and SEFP' which i downloaded from others tutorial..and i totally dont know to use it for what.
