@kargaroc386 I would've offered at least a fiver.
-
@Tripp1993 hell yeah
-
@Tripp1993 Yes, that's a great use of money!
-
probably due to lack of channel choice., with only 6 channels, whoopy

The Satellite Encyclopaedia claims that Marcopolo 2 was sold to Telenor (Thor) for $42 million.
-
It didn't re-enter the atmosphere, it's too high up for that. Marcopolo 1 is in a graveyard orbit at 36,046 x 36,138 km while Marcopolo 2 is at 36,051 x 36,123 km. Too high for a shuttle mission.
-
Nope they were sold off for £2.50
-
i don't
-
I sure freaking hope that he just forgot to put million after that 2.50 number rofl....
-
Why? IF Marcopolo re-enters the atmosphere, it could still be sold to the British Museum, or something, all it'll take is a little re-painting or a replica of Marcopolo 1 could be shown in the British Museum!
hmm. so the satellites were sold off for £2.50?
insane.

You think the European Space Agency and NASA should go to orbit, find what's left of Marcopolo and then if it's safe back home on Earth, it should be sold to the British Museum as a tribute to BSB TV?
