@MerseySky We're always going to see what's new as horrible garbage when we compare it to classics. After all, older folks in the 50s were calling Rock n Roll "just noise" and it was "poisoning the youth". There was a lot of bullshit music in the 60s too, but we don't remember them because they faded into obscurity, and all we're left with is memories of the good things, so of course we're going to think everything that was made back then was gold. Shit nowadays won't be remembered in 20 years.

I'm 63. I grew up with this music. There is not much like it now. I know I'm an old bastard, yet I do like some new stuff. But the radio doesn't even play anything good, if it is there. If the same situation existed back then, we probably would have never heard of the Kinks, Zombies and maybe even the Beatles, Stones ... and definitely Bob Dylan. They all would have been considered too weird. I feel for young people today, they have to search out music.
