  • Is this a good issue to jump onto this series with?

By the way I don't get it: on marvel subscriptions it says that 47 is the current issue. But 45 is te most recent to come out. Does this mean I'll get 47 and onwards if i subscribe to it now or 45 and onwards? I thought you'd know since you subscribe to it.

  • 47 is the first issue you'll get.

It's really not a great jumping on point. But I don't think it's a terrible one.

  • I think I'll get it by trades.

  • Don't make a same mistake I made. X-factor vol. 1 is actually the second story. The first is Madrox; Multiuple Choice. Get that first.

  • Is this the video you were going to make about gay people? Apparently some guy whom people think is gay and turns out to be true. But this is immoral.

  • No this isn't the video.

  • Comic book characters go through a lot of changes as different people pick them up and write them. It's possible that a deep friendship can turn into something more if both people are open minded enough to let it happen and these characters obviously were,at least as far as most fans saw it and obviously Peter David agreed. It was nice to see a character that didn't need a love interest. And i understand characters change, Shat's was a subtle believable one. But Rictor was a complete rewritting of the character. Last we saw him he was heading back to his Drug Dealing Family in Mexico to help with some family issues. And even though he obviously become ...

a good guy, he was still a kid from the barrio. His Chicano heritage and the gangster life he had grown up with was a huge part of his character. Then Peter David writes him into his X-Factor and suddenly he's some whiney Emo kid? Huge change! It would have been like Beast disappearing for a few yeas and then having him written into a new book as an illiterate Retard, and for no good reason other then that's the type of character the writer wanted.

  • Thanks, man :)

  • Rictor is the emo kid because he lost his powers in M day.
