Not to be nitpicking but that's like calling all rock metal. Techno is a genre of electronic music, and is quite distinguishable from say trance or house.

This was one of the first techno CD's I ever bought. ( Paul Oakenfold's Tranceport was first). I started listening and re-listening and re-listening and re-listening and.... I didn't stop re-listening until the grooves on the CD were flat. So to speak. Trance took my soul and won't give it back.

@FrauPeterke that's funny, in the 90ies I did like you - Bumm Bumm was TECHNO, but meanwhile I also made my own genres-list and union jack is (4 me) a mix out of techno, trance and acid. One of the best ways you can make music electronicly, it is deep, not too nervous, the right speed to dance and also good to chill out.

Acid-techno-trance 4 ever !
