The purpose of this video is to go to the source, the people who invented bboying, and ask their opinions on a touchy subject such as biting. Many new bboys watch Strife to get knowledge they never had access to. We are happy you already know about this, but others are a little unfortunate. Pz.

we don`t need people who tell us about biting cuz we all know about it. we know what is the different between "to get inspieret and copy a move or a style"(like james brown dancing) , or, "to be lazy and steel unic ideas and sell it as there owen ideas". and by the way, thanks that you didn`t defens alien ness (like you did withaby) cuz it just shows that i am right with my opinion about him ....HE IS NOT ZULU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!­!!!!!!!!

@MrGazian Aby is someone important. If it wasn't for him and his friends in the Bronx in the early 70s, we wouldn't have this bboy culture. They started everything. Interviewing him is like interviewing a living bible of bboying. Now in his 50s, of course he cannot dance as athletic as many younger people. But he deserves much more respect than what you are giving him.

I respect what there saying and agree to the concept, but don't agree with there take on the word "biting". I think there more talking about taking a move and flipping it to make it there own by putting there own style and twist behind it, where as biting is more referred to as straight taking a move copy and past style. And yes everyone flips moves that's how you have variations of a simple freeze, but then you see bboys taking there favorite bboys moves/style exactly as is, that's biting.

@facuss09 from what i understand, whack means bad. so if you see someone who is terrible at dancing you can call him out and say he's whack.

so for example, "that set of yours was whack! you just made a fool out of yourself."

Lets just say beginners are inspired to bboy so they tend to copy moves from the bboy who "inspires" them. I dont want to use the word "bite" for beginners because they don't even know and understand what it means to "bite" someone.

Could somebody tell me what does "WACK" mean ? I'm a bboy from Argentina, and I really can't get the meaning pretty well.. It would mean a lot, since I'm trying to translate this interview for my crew, but I cannot understand what WACK means..
