Most of the people of Lebanon are still to this day Phoenician! Arabised in language! But what happened to the Phoenicians is a bloody disaster! Theyre now all fragmented & in pieces! Not united! There's Phoenicians all over the Mediterranean like in Malta & Sardinia that are not united & look at each other like strangers! The farcical govts of Malta & Lebanon have not sent teams of officials to improve ties, despite being blood linked! Instead, too much US pop culture & bars, drinks & pussy!

most Lebanese are not Arabs other you like it or not ,when muslem arabs invaded Syria,Jordan,Iraq and Egypt,they force them to become muslems ,and later on they started to integrated with the original people till little by little they lost their language ,but the case in Lebanon was different ,because of the high mountains (who was populated by Christians)the muslem arabs couldnt reach the high mountains so they remained Christians .

No not really, if you check the DNA of lubnany's today you will see that their DNA is not like ours. Their could have been a little mingling going on back then but they are Phoenician.
