@FoolyCoolyMabase When they did the planet-crack on Aegis VII, the virus was dormant in the planet because the Marker had the genetic codes for it written on it, so it was able to make it and control it. So when the people committed suicide and when they cracked the planet open, the Marker was awoken, and with it, the virus was as well.

It'd be cool if it actually infected him, and you could witness Isaac turn into, like, a Twitcher or something. Then, after you watched it happen, he'd look at the camera and run away or something.
