@RPenta that was not part of their plan..... its about the destruction of the Church. slowly...quietly...as for today's changes- merely two steps forward and one step back (kneeling for "communion")

@muisire quit going to the vatican II church. there are true traditional masses available.. email me.

@58847436 To be frank about it, the Church authorities (meaning Pope Paul VI, etc.) made such an awful botch of the transition to a vernacular liturgy-they should simply had had the Tridentine Mass translated into the appropriates language and left well enough alone.

I will translate lusti85's quote below......"In my church, we still sing the Tantum Ergo during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. It's truly beautiful and I thank God for having made me Catholic."

Yes, the Catholic Liturgy is precious beyond expressing it seems. My memories of the Latin Mass also, really are the most joyous of my life. The Book of Revelation says that in these Last Days, the holiness of those seeking holiness shall increase, and that those who practice evil shall likewise increase in it. The Bible also states that the wicked hate the good of those who do it, and likewise, the good hate the evil of those who are wicked!!
This is so beautiful - it something to remember for years and to remember with tears. I remember hearing it and singing it as a child, as a teenager, as a young man. I am now 71 years old and have heard this great hymn at Benediction just 3 times in 35 years.
I do not know - they never explain - why the Catholic Church in Ireland where I grew up and in Wales where I live has put an end to so many beautiful customs since the Second Vatican Council.
Thank God for Youtube...
