Finally, the first hours of GTA IV running on the 8600GT

Not the best rig. Not the best card. But I still have NIKO RIDIN' AND KILLIN' on this baby!! Hell yeah! xD

The game is so bad optimized for PC platform. It could run better, so I hope some patches come up later.

Played in 960x600
For the card, I think the MEDIUM textures and MEDIUM/HIGH renders are the best choice (I mean I didn't test the HIGHEST renders so you try it but it must look not so different men, I dunno)

Most of the time I got like 20-25+ FPS
With FRAPS I got like 10-20 FPS, on the beach obviuosly I got 30+

I don't need Shadow Density in the game so I put it in 0, the other ones are set in 20+

irve had this card to, but it was just to laggy and i had to put everything on low, i sold the 8600 gt for €30 and in a few days i get my HD5770 =D
