July 20, 1931. Representatives from the United States and Britain arrive in Rome and Paris to discuss the German financial crisis. The crisis started initially in Austria when the Kredit-Anstalt Bank collapsed following the failure of a proposed German-Austrian Customs Union due to French opposition. Failure of the Western economic powers to support Kredit-Anstalt allowed the crisis to become entrenched. By July, the financial crisis had spread to Germany with the collapse of the Danatbank. Investors began quickly selling off their Deutsche Marks and the value of German currency plummeted.

  • Laval? Amazing! Did anybody suspect What he´ll do in ten years time? What a Library you have,man I´m hooked!

  • Thanks, AZ about another dozen or so to finish the Weimar playlist. As for Laval, from respected politician to base traitor ten years later...I doubt even he expected it....

  • Laval? Socialist, "animal politique" III Republique. He is truely an Auvergnat: a mountain people of Auvergne in the Massif Central, herders, crafty ran vertually all the heating (as did my grandfather) and cafes/brasseries. Racially they are Celtic Gauls with Sarrasin blood so I have quite a bit of African blood in my veins! For his political opinion--watch the Sorrow and the Pity by Marcel Ophuls which takes place in Clermant not far from where Vercingetorix was beaten in Alesia.

  • Yes, Skoblin is amazing. You should see photos of Laval and Stalin together in Moscow, the swarthy Georgian and the "Bougnat"--they're grinning like brothers.

  • fraternity member.

  • The problem is, that today also Eastern European credits given out by Austrian banks (and some German banks) will be the worst part of this economic implosion and financial collapse. For the entire euro zone. Hungary, the Baltic states and Ukraine cannot pay back. Contrary to 1931, now the United States are off far worse. The USA are bankrupt in fact. Only a monetary reform (AMERO ?) and a hyperinflation preceding this, can "save" parts of the US economy.

  • Do you mean Skull & Bones Fraternity member, or occultist? Or both?

  • Stimson = skull & bone

    Hoover = British lackey
