  • i was listening to an interview with her, in which she talked about her divorce. she said when she was doing junior the curtains had fallen over her marriage with ken. this is just after junior, she 's there to promote it. she's a brilliant actress, she totally acted her way through this interview, as if there was nothing wrong

  • @54:23 Emma was almost in tears ;(( Ken proposed to her after the filming of Henry V. The clip must have brought back a lot of happy memories with Ken. This is sad, they are sooo magical together ;((

  • adoro la pelicula del titanic

  • Emma Thompson is one of my most famous actors. I find myself now turning this off 12 minutes befire the end of her interesting talk simply because this gent is either overwhelmed by the woman's breadth or he can't stand it when she answers his questions in her own way.

  • you can see her expression change from describing the mango to suddenly talking about ken...its like a wall, a defense, rose up. @0:29:17 so sad :(

  • I didn't understand the part in which she talks about being rejected from oxford :(

  • I'm not quite following her reasoning regarding Method acting (19:51-21:59). She says that one of the greatest influences on British acting is the Method. But then she seems to be saying that American actors are too much into the Method ("I've got to really feel this" etc.). Her description of how the theatre is used as a training tool in Britain sounds very anti-Method to me. I mean, it all makes a lot of sense apart from that first comment on the importance of the Method in Britain...

  • Ok, so this is from Nov 94? Then that means Thompson and Branagh were going to divorce a year later, (and i also read somewhere that the marriage was in diffs around 'Frankenstein' time, which is mentioned). So that's horrible isn't? That she has to talk about the marriage and everything being hunky-dory? Poor woman. And I know he doesnt know about it or anything, but he's a terrible interviewer... interrupting all over the shop. Pshaw.

  • is he trying to flirt with her? that might be the issue here.
