very eccentric and for a provincial from the NL highly entertaining ; like you have to work your way up from a unpainted room with traffic noise to a quiet room on the inside ct and so on. Also I had a death threat in the elevator the very first minutes within arriving. Later on it turned out to be part of the fun. Stop complaining, they are working!!! What the hell do you expect???? They're trying to make it better! YES! There will be noise when renovating!!! I've stayed there, and I gotta say...

it would have been frustrating for those staying there at the time, but at least the hotel has regard for self-improvement.. i've stayed at some that have no such regard

It was way better when it was the riverview hotel.Check out how the staff have to dress..With fucking flying monkeys uniforms,They look out of date.At least with the riverview they would dress casual,As they pleased..Also there wasnt so many camaras..Now,is camaras up your ass.Is just a big fucking mess.I stayed there before.And those new staff are children,to young,looks like a fucking daycare,Give me Riverview anytime and the Riverview staff...

Wow, that hotel look so different. I've stayed there so many times during 1996-2004 that it almost became like a second home to me. Then, after 2004, it became hard to get a room there. I remember the bag woman who used to talk to herself, the old black guy you used to sit on the front steps for hrs and the HUGE transexual with shoulders like a linebacker...lol. I really miss staying there.
