Zanzibar was a paradise when it was ruled by Arabs ( Omanies), since the revolution took place with the aid of British government, The island was totally destroied by Karume. The main idea of British support to Karume was to destroy the island & keep thpse peole leave in darkness of poor life with out any furthur support from the UK. The situation of ZNZ now illustrates the fact i've just mentioned and ZNZ will never improve while it is under Karume's Government....( History talks).
