An amazing charity that teaches Israeli kids to play tennis.

Great historical footage of the Israel Tennis Centers (ITC). These fourteen Centers, throughout Israel, mainly in poor neighborhoods teach children life skills through tennis. The Centers provide special programs for underprivileged, at-risk and challenged children, as well as special populations. The ITC provides a safe, nurturing environment for 20,000 kids every week, financed primarily through donations from the Israel Children's Centers (ICC) in the US and Canada. The ICC holds events throughout the US several times a year. During these events, teams of ITC kids show off their tennis skills and share their personal stories with guests. A growing number of donations to this worthwhile charity are now coming from kids in the US who raise money for the ICC as Bar and Bat Mitzvah projects.
