Gypsy Lady is a fuzz inspired by the tone of Jimi Hendrix. Its dual band distortion allows you to apply the amount of fuzz onto a high and a low band independently.
It even has SQUEAK control on board, get you that famous metallic squeak similar to the one you can get from octavia pedal..

  • RECORD will do the live instrument RECORDING, REASON wont. honestly, i feel like youtube does this no justice

  • @rhoggard76 Well actually with Reason 6, now you CAN record audio. So if you are looking for a DAW that's simple enough to operate, although there are many application does that, but Reason might be suitable for your needs. P!!

  • that intro sounds great, was it recorded in reason/record? i hope so, im nearly sold on buying reason and record but i have yet to hear some music that was made with it that sounds natural, they all seem to sound a bit fake(the synths and the mix in general) maybe im just not looking in the right place. i record a lot of guitar and acoustic things with just a few synth sounds thrown in. ill definitely be checking out this gypsy lady effect if i buy reason

  • @savagecabage Thanks for the comment!

Yes, the intro was made entirely in reason/record.

Although you may hear a lot of musicians making electronic music on reason, but you have to remember that there's so much more you can do with Reason/Record. It's totally up to you to make that decision whether to make it sounds more towards electronic or natural. And as you may have already researched, there are tons of fx patches comes with reason and record to begin making great sound.

  • Sounds really good to me

Really captures the characteristic essence of both Stomp Boxes

  • @stratcatavarious Thank you very much for such an encourage comment!

In creating reason combinator FX patches, as you know, you have only limited number of devices to extract the feature you want and combine those to get the desired results...Which is certainly not an easy task, but it definitely satisfies us when we hear response like yours!

    P!

  • @homegrownps i can see all you did was troll on my post which was a reply to a 10 month old post to the fellow before me. Propellerheads is very adamant about Reason not being called a DAW btw

  • @homegrownps thats best new ive heard all week! i just had to hear that something like this could be recorded with it before i bought it, but dam i cant wait now! do you have the full intro uploaded somewhere? itunes? i like that chilled out relaxed type of stuff.

theres a lot more videos on youtube now showing all the different effects, the last time i looked there wasnt that much so im very impressive by it all, and it will be a nice upgrade from using adobe audition too
