Symantec Vision Session SS01 second demo

Second demonstration during Symantec Vision SS01 entitled "Intel vPro Technology: A wellmanaged client is a secure client"

In this demonstration, the migration to Symantec Endpoint Protection (antivirus) needs to be completed during non-business hours. A TaskServer job is scheduled to power-on via Intel AMT, deploy the package, and then gracefully power-off. The status and report of the job provides direct insights to what systems completed the individual tasks.

The same techniques could be used to power-on and scan during off-hours, power-on and backup, power-on and patch, etc.
