Merili Varik - Jää alati mu kätte

Merili Varik has launched in September 2011 her first solo project under her own name Merili Varik.

With her past musical influences, her project can be called essentially rock with picks of sweet-soft pop melodies and hard-rock touches.

This is the first single "Jää alati mu kätte" (October 2011) and it's just being released. A full album is being in progress in the studio with expectations of releasing it in spring 2012.

Merili Varik is currently starting to offer live concerts in Estonia with her new solo project which is essentially based with the following background help: lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, drums and background singer.

A first project opening concert has been performed in Apollo Live Club in the Estonian Music Gala on the November 18th 2011 with the following band members:

Laura Ojala- bass,
Ricardo Guarilha- lead guitar,
Taavi Mets- drums,
François Archanjo- percussions,
Oliver Ott- cello.

Merili Varik was founder and lead singer of "Agent M" until 2010 and currently is also a full member of "Sõpruse Puiestee".
