dude you need to practise the physical aspects of technique to progress. this dude obviously wants to play death metal, where these tempos and faster are very common.
is a concert pianist playing scales for hours more sport than music? he's just practising the technical aspect of his art.
respect to the guy for his dedication.

OK, You are right. But I respect this Guy, that,s why I wrote: "I really appreciate..."
It is a killer technique, I know. Just Yesterday played only a minute and slower than this Guy, but my legs were fed up. (I use rarely the doubler cause I prefer the hi-hat)
All the best!

Congratulation -really -, but it is already more sport than music. The speed is good thing, but the question is: what do we use for.
But I really appreciate Your achievement.
Best wishes from Hungary

borrrrrring :D haha.. 250 bpm danos!!
Good work. one question, do you think that practicing on pads rather than on the drums help isolate certain areas like endurance or balance? Been wondering this myself because I practice mainly on pads and don't really know what I'm missing as far as doing this practice regimen on the kit. Thanks

I guess it can - I just have no way of playing my kit at the moment so I've no choice .. but ye it could definitely help balance/endurance etc because youre forced more so to do this kind of stuff
