Apparently you never heard of the Jewish terrorist organizations like Irgun, and the work still carried out by Israeli government to terrorize the REFUGEES in Gaza after they lost their lands to Jewish Immigrants. After Israel left, it strangulated Gaza from land and sea, to exert pressure on Palestinians in Peace negotiations. Israel wanted a lasting peace based in unjust conditions imposed utilizing its war machine. Palestinian refused, so Israel is committing massacres to exert more pressure.

Gaza strip was NEVER part of Israel. It was occupied by Israel from 1967 to 1999 (proximately). Historically, Gaza was the capital of the Philistines.
However, if you look at the two blue lines on the Israeli flag, the represent the Nile and Euphrates rives, the boarder of the Kingdom Israel wants.

If the Israelis wanted to maximize casualties, the death toll would be a HUNDRED times higher. Hamas INTENTIONALLY stores weapons in civilian homes.
