Next year the Levindale Auxiliary will debut a new sensory garden as a gift to the residents of Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital. The garden, which is designed to appeal to all five senses, will be a beautiful area full of flowers and trees. It will create a sense of serenity for residents and their families.
In this video previous Levindale Auxiliary President Sora Greelinger, current Levindale Auxiliary President Betsy Narrow, and Tim Barnhill from architect firm Macth, etc. discuss the purpose of building the garden and its design elements.
The sensory garden is planned to be completed in December 2011 and will debut in May 2012!
