The Rajah Brooke butterfly (Trogonoptera brookiana) is a distinctive black and electric-green birdwing butterfly from rainforests in Borneo and Malaysia; this butterfly is the national butterfly of Malaysia.
Rajah Brookiana Birdwing. Bring back memories of catching, setting and displaying them. They were all over the rivers and cool streams of Genting Sempah and Gombak 12 1/2 miles reservoir in 1972 Malaysia. Unfortunately these places are developed and gone.
Only Tapah, Cameron Highlands, Frasers Hill and rivers outside Bentong remains.

I've always been a butterfly freak. I want to see one of these beauties in person.
