Best of five against "EnrichedWheat"

This guy was destroying everybody in the room when I entered. We're talking tick throw o'rama the whole time. He was using a combination of Gief and T.Hawk and getting near perfects against everyone.

I put an end to his domination in our very first match... then he comes back in the next one with Fei Long to get a counter match against me. I was too aggressive and I paid the price.

Anways, we pretty much go back and forth after that but I pull it out in the end. Great fights. This guy is much, much better than he looks in these vids. His ticks are very tight, and he knows how to set them up. He punishes any mistake and it took a lot of patience to get the victories.

Just goes to show how crucial it is to learn how to avoid or counter tick throws in this game. It's the difference between easy victories and absolute pwnage.

Fredb you should have recorded our past gief vs. blanka fights. So folks can see how people use Gief differently against Blanka.

Im not as good as enrichedwheat though. LOL

You're right, I should have recorded the matches. After our fifth or six match I really regreted not recording it b/c we kept going back and forth for so long. would have made for some great youtube action.

VERY nice!! I have trouble with this guy and a guy named Elkipor. They are both beasts with Gief although Enrichedwheat seems much better with other characters. Elkipor seems to stick only with Gief. My biggest problem is that I'm not patient or discipline enough to chip away at him and not rush in. And I get trapped buy those tick throws you mentioned. I don't know how to avoid them. What kind of fighting stick do you use?
