Ripper Sounds Good on His Stuff.. Turner Is a More seasoned Rock Stlye Singer . Ripper Is more METAl Through and Through.

Ripper sounds great. He stays in tune which is very difficult with these YJM tunes.

Seems like Yngwie has more gain with those new Seymour Duncan pickups, although this is filmed with a camcorder so the audio quality is poor so its not a very accurate reference to Ynwgie's tone. Did you see part 1? The band blows "OVerture" which makes me think this show was not rehearsed much if at all which may explain a few things. Anyway, Tim Owens is great with Yngwie, he brings back the "metal" vocals that I feel suits Yngwies compositions the best...just my opinion...cheers! Johnny

Hey guys...just to throw in my .02, Ripper sounds better on the album, for sure. However, you have to cut the guy some slack. We don't know how many shows he did before this one, his voice could be a bit shot from before. OTOH, the sound there may not have helped him either. I agree that Yngwie doesn't sound the same either. But as a musician, I must admit some gigs aren't as good as others.

@rhythm78 could be that it was recorded through a handheld camcorder. Nonetheless, it sounds crappy.
