Nice, we're doing the Cuba Run this fall so this is what it's gonna look like I'd imagine!! I stick with wetsuits and spraytops, that way you can take a leak!! 5mm suit is warm up to 45deg F water temp. Anyway , nice vid!

Yes, we broke the pole when we went into a checkpoint so were OK for the first part of this leg as we were reaching but when we needed to bear away into Mariehamn we lost a lot of time as had no kite. We managed to borrow and re-fit a pole that evening from another boat which had an incident with a rock!

never made a movie before and I think I may have got a bit carried away with the iMovie's editing options.. I made the video as a joke for the guy who was sailing with as I wanted to remember the good times.. being stuck in a drysuit for 18hrs a day needing a piss and eating a lot of fruitcake.. those were the days!!
